Weber Trailers

Our PITLOCK system has been thoroughly tested by the firm WEBER TECHNIK with respect to its suitability:
WEBER E-coupling and PITLOCK rear wheel axle, the code nut tightened with 8-10 Nm, load simulation set to approximately 80 kg on the trailer.

The result of this series of tests showed:
the trial was passed by all of the components involved.

Note:
The PITLOCK axle must not be bent and the locking side must be flat on the frame (dropout).

The correct positioning of the PITLOCK locking device (as well as that of the quick-release skewer) should be checked regularly.

During assembly it must be ensured that the WEBER serrated insert of the anti-twist locking device is pressed fully into the base plate of the coupling.

If the rear wheel axle in the standard length of 155 mm (installation width) is not enough, we also offer longer rear wheel axles of 170 and 200 mm.
