CORRECT ASSEMBLY OF CALLIPER BRAKES
ASSEMBLY AND FUNCTION
For safety reasons these securing devices for brakes are NOT suitable for securing the brake callipers of DISK BRAKES!!!
PIT brake consists of 2 M6 code bolts with the corresponding locking elements.
It is sufficient if one side is secured at the front and the same side at the rear. The brake is then sufficiently secured against theft because the two remaining parts do not form a complete brake together. Of course both brake levers can be secured at the front and rear. Drip a little locking fluid on to the threads of the code bolts and then screw them in. These are then also protected against vibrations and attempts to open them.
The second washer supplied can be mounted for the purposes of adaptation if the height of the one washer is not sufficient.
