ROHLOFF SOLID AXLES

Thanks to numerous suggestions from our customers and support from the firm Rohloff we have been able to expand our product range and can offer you a Pitlock locking device for the Rohloff solid axles. If wide aluminium dropouts are installed on your bicycle, we recommend the Pitlock M10 / Mono set, with which one side of the Pitlock solid axles is 'pitlocked' (secured). The M10 / Double set contains two locks and can therefore be installed on both sides of the Rohloff solid axles.

Important

The protruding thread should extend for approximately 14 mm out of the dropout, while the locking ring requires a space (bearing surface) of 15 mm in the radius around the thread in order that the Pitlock lock can be securely installed. If the protruding thread is too short, it is necessary to use an axle stub with a long threaded axle (available from Rohloff, article no.: 8235L Axle Plate TS OEM)

Only Rohloff solid axles can be secured with Pitlock!
