PIT dropout is offered as a set of securing devices for (re-)purchase. If you already have PITLOCK on your bicycle you can use your PITLOCK code number (on the security pass) to order suitable securing devices for the dropouts.

During assembly

This new securing device for screwed-on dropouts prevents the easy dismantling of your rear wheel. In spite of the use of a PITLOCK hub securing device, it is possible for a thief to unscrew the entire rear wheel on the unsecured dropouts. In order to prevent this - or at least make it more difficult - it is possible as of now to install this PIT dropout securing device.

Straightforward installation: simply remove a threaded bolt on the dropout and turn the screw-in sleeve clockwise. Insert the PITLOCK axle from the inside through the sleeve, screw on the lock and tighten with the PIT.
